MCC to host Mid-Michigan District Health Department COVID-19 vaccine clinics

The Mid-Michigan District Health Department offers COVID-19 vaccination clinics at MCC on Thursdays, April 15, 22 and 29. These are open to the public, including MCC students and employees. These are first-dose clinics using the Moderna vaccine and are for individuals age 18 and older. All appointments for these vaccination clinics must be made in advance. Visit https://www.mmdhd.org/covid-vaccine-information/ to sign up. The clinic cannot accommodate walk-ins. Please note:

  • While those 16 years of age and older are now eligible to be vaccinated, the health department can only vaccinate those 18 and older at this time. This is because the Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved for 16- and 17-year-olds and the health department is using Moderna. Those looking for the Pfizer vaccine can contact Spectrum Health or Sparrow Carson Hospital.
  • The links on the health department’s website are for first doses only. People will be given an appointment for their second dose at their first dose appointment.
  • Also included on the health department’s webpage are other vaccination locations, as well as important information about the vaccine
