The Montcalm Community College Centurion Men's Golf Team hosted their first MCCAA Western Conference Golf Invitational at Glenkerry Golf Course in Greenville, MI on Friday, April 26. 36 golfers from Glen Oaks, Grand Rapids, Marian University at Ancilla College, Montcalm, Muskegon, Oakland and Jackson College competed at the Montcalm Community College Invitational. 

 

The Montcalm Centurions finished with a team score of 314, behind Oakland and Grand Rapids who tied for first place with a team score of 295. 

 

Leading the Centurions were freshman Zach Johnson from Holt who tied for 10^th place finishing with a 75, followed by Ryan Clingenpeel (76), Jerald Brownell (78), Lucas Hirkaway (85) and Drake Syrjala (90). 

 

The Men's Golf Team will compete in the Ancilla College Invitational in Plymouth, Indiana on Thursday, May 2, at 10 a.m. For full rosters, schedules and results, visit montcalmcenturions.com.
